ey and Ofqual – our most recent prestigious new client win

4 January 10

Following a three-way pitch, we've been commissioned to produce Ofqual's annual Chief Regulator's Report. Ofqual is the UK's regulation body for the entire education and training sector. This will be their second, and much anticipated, report. We're awful proud.

Tim Davies explains: 'We'd been looking for an entry into the public sector for some time, and out of the blue we appeared on Ofqual's radar - not the other way around. It's heartening when potential clients find you, especially when the first job goes so utterly smoothly.'

ey’s sixth performance for The Royal Variety

22 December 09

Design Week has featured our sixth consecutive glamorous brochure for The Royal Variety Performance. If you watched ITV on 16th December you'll have seen Her Majesty flipping through it, nudging her husband whenever she came across the really good bits.

Dan Elliott comments: 'This year was the first time since 1955 that the Royal Variety was held in Blackpool, so putting the city itself at the heart of the creative seemed entirely appropriate. And of course, I'm totally chuffed to have it featured in Design Week.'

ey and Hanson Wade

21 December 09

Our latest new client, Hanson Wade, is a relatively new and rapidly-growing specialist events organiser. They provide high end exhibition, forum and networking opportunities within life sciences, shipping and maritime, finance and banking, and defence. When they were looking for an agency to rebrand the company, they wanted evidence of top end design skill combined with exhibition experience. So, without a pitch, we've got another very happy customer. Plans for 2010 are developing nicely, and we look forward to a fruitful relationship with them.

ey’s amazing result for UBM’s industry flagship event

24 November 09

We've just had the results in from a recent VDP campaign for United Business Media. For the first time in the history of the global industry's biggest show, Food ingredients Europe, a campaign was created with the specific aim of convincing sellers from the United States that this international show would be well worth the investment.

Then, within just two weeks of landing on desks, the campaign achieved over 400% ROI. Just another example of the staggering results achievable through personalised DM.

ey’s joined abba

11 November 09

When we heard abba was searching for new members, we dashed out of the office without switching the heaters off. The name of their game (chuckle...) is to promote and accredit the most professional of marketing agencies within the B2B world. Getting on this prestigious list is tough, but we've just received the jewel-encrusted envelope that contains confirmation of our acceptance into the gang.

ey produces the Celesio Supplier Symposium

3 November 09

We've just created the most powerful messaging and branding to date for the Celesio Group's annual supplier symposium. Euro giant, Celesio Group, incorporates AAH Pharmaceuticals – the UK's largest supplier to the NHS – and their Supplier Symposium is the highly acclaimed annual event for Europe's most influential professionals within pharmaceutical supply.

Matt Stroud, ey designer, led the creative execution – he explains: 'This year, the Supplier Symposium incorporated the entire Celesio Group portfolio – five of Europe's largest healthcare and pharma suppliers. The visual representation needed to push new boundaries of professionalism, and I'm confident we achieved that.'

ey, BlackBerry, and BigHand

23 July 09

BlackBerry partner, BigHand, produces voice recording software that enables the efficient processing of voice data files. It doesn't take too much in-depth thought to realise the benefits to organisations that still use the clunky methods of dictaphones and other hand-held devices that require physical transportation to be able to dock with its mother ship.

ey was selected to work with BlackBerry and BigHand to produce a highly targeted campaign to law firms. The message outlines the time and cost benefits of remote dictation, and encourages the law firms to sign up to a generous 30 day free trial (so, they get a BlackBerry, the software, plus a free month's worth of transcribing).

ey brands for Europe’s number one drugs provider

23 July 09

European drug giant, Celesio has created a new company dedicated to the efficient delivery of medication to the home, including nursing care, called Evolution Homecare. With NHS initiatives increasingly being driven around taking pressure off local hospitals and GPs, the home-care market is expected to realise explosive growth over the next few years.

Thanks to our long history with AAH Pharmaceuticals (the UK's largest distributor of pharmacy, also owned by Celesio), ey was selected to undertake the job of branding Evolution Homecare. We look forward to working closely with this exciting new company, and build on our relationship with Celesio to continue to help them look and sound like Europe's number 1.

ey takes on UK’s largest HR event for CIPD

20 July 09

The UK's prestigious Chartered Institute of Personnel Development owns and runs the industry's two main HR shows each year - Human Resource Development (HRD) and the Annual Conference and Exhibition (ACE). Without pitching, ey has bagged both shows due to our creative reputation, plus our expertise in 1on1 marketing.

HRD took place at the beginning of the 2009, and even in the thick of the economic downturn the results of creating a 1on1 campaign were so successful that we've been invited back to do the same for ACE.

ey gets 5th ATM appointment

10 July 09

Some clients never seem to tire of us. Nor we of them. To say we're delighted to win the Arabian Travel Market account for the 5th consecutive year is a gross understatement. This international marketing machine never stops, and we're proud to be playing our role in it.

The challenge of creating a fresh look for the show, without making it look like a new show, is one that we thrive on. And this year, our work has been taken to the movers and shakers within the world of ATM - that is, an online focus group has been created to gather opinions and foster buy-in from stakeholders across the globe. A bold move on behalf of the client - but an established show like ATM can handle such risks blindfolded.

ey goes into orbit - no really, we go into orbit

5 July 09

For the third year, ey has won the business for Aerospace Testing – the international meeting place for the Aerospace Test Engineering Community.

ey's Director of Galactic Design, Dan Elliott, comments: 'I've recently been inspired by Planetary Nebula K 4-55, as displayed in the Hubble image gallery. Integrating the natural flow of the supernova with the business benefits of attending the show proved a real challenge, but I think we pulled it off pretty well.'

ey gets gorgeous

25 May 09

Yet another 1-to-1 take up from a savvy marketing pro leads us into the heart of Asia's cosmetics market. Reed Exhibitions' in-cosmetics Asia, Singapore, goes live in October 2009 and ey's 1on1DM tactics have been employed to make the show messages more relevant than ever before to a thoroughly segmented audience.

Personalisation is being used within the creative, but as always, the cleverest part of the 1on1 element to the campaign lies within segmentation. The more you can profile your audience, the more tailored you can make the messages. Sounds simple. Now all we need to do is make it work!

ey gets Interxion appointment

18 May 09

The mammoth of European IT solutions around latency reduction, Interxion, has selected ey to help produce the materials they need for convincing another global player to partner with them. Good luck, lads and ladies!

Account Director, Tim Davies commented, 'As sexy projects go, this one's among the more sexy. Definitely. Very sexy.'

ey on the move

12 May 09

The design team at Hampton has now moved from from upstairs to downstairs.

The move comes as a result of recent expansion within the ey team. Plus, in a move to get ey's whole offering closer some of our key accounts, we've deployed one of our Account Managers into the Hampton studio. Sarah Mallett explains, 'I was in Bedford, and now I'm in Hampton.'

We're considering hosting a client party there soon, so watch this space.
